Office Assistant

Location: Baden, PA
Pay: $15/hour
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
Position Type: 90+ Day Temporary Position
Ideal Start Date: August 31, 2026

Position Summary

We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and organized Office Assistant to support the daily operations of a busy office. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people and wants to use their administrative and customer service skills in a professional office environment.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable interacting with customers at the front window, handling payments, completing paperwork, and performing general office duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and professional customer service at the front window
• Greet customers and assist them with questions and requests
• Receive and process customer payments
• Answer and direct telephone calls
• Perform data entry and maintain accurate records
• File documents and maintain organized files
• Scan and electronically save documents
• Shred checks and other documents as directed
• Prepare, organize, and distribute paperwork
• Make copies and assist with general office tasks
• Maintain office supplies and organization
• Assist other staff members with administrative duties as needed

Qualifications

• Previous office or administrative experience preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software
• Strong attention to detail
• Good organizational and time-management skills
• Professional and friendly demeanor
• Ability to handle payments and confidential information responsibly
• Dependable and punctual
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
