Job Description

As a Security Officer - Access Control in North Las Vegas, NV , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide professional customer service. You will communicate clearly in Spanish and English, use computer or tablet tools as needed, and work with a reliable, agile team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized activity or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• Be fluent in speaking, reading, and writing Spanish.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
