Production Member

Position Summary:

This is a non-exempt, entry-level position that supports all departments and our customer base by producing high quality product safely and efficiently. This position reports to the Plant Manager. Morgan Services, Inc. is a drug-free facility.

Hours:

·         1st shift 5:00 am to 2:00PM (or later if necessary) Monday - Friday

Salary:

·         Starting rate is $15.10 per hour

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Communicates with other members on a daily basis

·         Works with other members on identifying methods of improving individual results

·         Responsible for your own safety and the safety of others around you. Monitors members’ safety to ensure members are provided hazard-free work environment.

·         Responsible for producing quality product in an efficient and effective manner

·         Participate in continuous improvement program

·         Works with managers and supervisors on identifying areas of process improvement in the department or plant and leads or participates in project teams

·         Completes department schedules to ensure proper work flow, high efficiency and lowest costs

Qualifications and Requirements:

·         Communication skills

·         Attention to detail

·         Commitment to safety and quality standards

·         Ability to pass a hair follicle drug test and background check

Education, Training, and Experience:

·         High school diploma or equivalent is desired But not Required

Work Environment:

This job operates in a plant environment. This role routinely uses large machinery.

Physical Demands:

This is a physically active role. An ability to lift 65 pounds, climb stairs, bend, and stand for extended periods every day is required.
