Warehouse Supervisor (Working Supervisor)
Edison, NJ
Consortium Print Group is a well-established commercial printing company located in Edison, NJ. Founded in 1975, we are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our team.
This is a hands-on working supervisor position. You won't be sitting behind a desk all day—you'll be actively involved in packing, shipping, receiving, inventory organization, and helping maintain an efficient warehouse while supervising daily operations.
We're looking for someone who takes pride in running a clean, organized warehouse and has the leadership skills to keep products moving efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Supervise all daily warehouse operations.
- Oversee shipping and receiving activities.
- Pack, palletize, shrink-wrap, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Receive, inspect, and verify inbound shipments.
- Organize and maintain warehouse inventory.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and efficient.
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing freight.
- Maintain inventory records and assist with inventory control.
- Work closely with production, customer service, and management to ensure orders ship accurately and on time.
- Train and assist warehouse personnel as needed.
- Operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment safely.
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse supervisory experience required.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Experience with UPS WorldShip and FedEx Ship Manager preferred.
- Forklift certification (or ability to become certified).
- Ability to lift and move heavy boxes throughout the day.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
About Our Warehouse
Our warehouse is managed using practical, organized processes rather than sophisticated warehouse management systems or barcode scanners. We're looking for someone who can improve organization, maintain accurate inventory, and establish efficient procedures using a hands-on approach.
