Key Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapy licensure in Michigan
• Previous experience as a school-based OT or strong clinical skills transferable to a school environment
• Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans
• Proficiency in documentation, collaboration, and timely reporting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Dedication to student-centered therapy and supporting diverse learning needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students' functional abilities and contribute to eligibility determinations for services
• Create and deliver tailored OT interventions to address fine and gross motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living abilities within the school context
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to integrate therapy into classroom activities and routines
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing professional input and recommendations
• Monitor and document student progress, modifying interventions as needed for optimal outcomes
