GI Hospitalist Opportunity

Apex Home Health, Hospice & Home Care

Role Overview

Seeking BC/BE GI Hospitalists to provide comprehensive inpatient gastroenterology care, including performing procedures such as colonoscopy, biopsy, polypectomy, endoscopy, PEG placement, liver biopsy, and banding treatments. The role offers a balanced schedule with 7 days on and 7 days off, supported by strong advanced practitioner assistance until 4 pm daily, with minimal callbacks after hours. The position involves teaching residents and medical students within a fully accredited Internal Medicine Residency Program and subspecialty fellowships, with academic rank based on experience.

Deliver consultative GI services on inpatient units
Perform a variety of general GI procedures
Engage in teaching and academic activities

Qualifications & Skills

Board Certified/Eligible in Gastroenterology
Strong procedural skills and clinical expertise
Excellent communication and teaching abilities
