1st Shift Warehouse Operations Supervisor

Warehouse SupervisorThe Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for leading the daily operations of a warehouse and logistics team. This role oversees staff performance, ensures efficient workflow, maintains safety standards, and helps improve warehouse processes. The supervisor works closely with management and customers to meet operational goals and deliver excellent service.Key responsibilities include supervising and coordinating daily warehouse and logistics operations, scheduling and assigning work to ensure efficient shift coverage and productivity, monitoring team performance and ensuring operational goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) are met, collaborating with management to improve warehouse processes, equipment, and workflow, working directly with customers to support daily operations and resolve issues, coaching, training, and developing employees to improve performance and encourage career growth, conducting employee performance evaluations and recommending recognition or merit increases when appropriate, addressing attendance, performance, and disciplinary issues in a professional manner, promoting teamwork, inclusion, and a positive work environment, ensuring compliance with workplace safety, security, and company policies, providing new employee orientation and ensuring staff have the tools and training needed to succeed, and performing other duties as assigned.Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED required, at least 1 year of experience in a warehouse, distribution, or transportation environment preferred, up to 1 year of supervisory or team lead experience required, strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance starting after 30 days, 401(k) with company matching, employee stock purchase program, employee discounts on travel, vehicles, tools, appliances, and more, paid holidays and paid time off during the first year, and up to 12 weeks of paid maternity leave.
