Description

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients in both inpatient and outpatient environments and develop tailored treatment plans
• Deliver effective physical therapy interventions focused on enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
• Work closely with nurses, physicians, case managers, and various rehab professionals to maximize patient outcomes
• Guide patients and their families through therapeutic goals, discharge planning, and home exercise regimens
• Record evaluations, treatments, and progress meticulously following regulatory and facility guidelines
• Engage in care team meetings and interdisciplinary conferences to ensure seamless patient care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

• State licensure as a Physical Therapist
• Preferred CPR certification
• Specialized certifications (e.g., in neurology, geriatrics) are beneficial but not mandatory

Skills

• Previous experience in the field is highly preferred
