POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT

POSITION: Knife room Attendant

DEPARTMENT: Purchasing

LOCATION: Ottumwa

SALARY CLASS : Non Exempt

Principle Responsibilities:

• Respo nsible for maintaining the Knife room / storeroom area in a clean orderly and sanitary condition.
• Responsible for collecting and redistributing supplies to employees.
• Sharpening cleaning repairing and maintaining all knives .
• Provide backup for Store Room Attendant.
• Perform various duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication and competent in organizational time management skills. (Bilingual skills helpful)
• Demonstrates good judgment problem solving and decision making skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Great customer service skills.
• High School degree or equivalent required
• Good attendance record (Less than 3 points for internal candidates)
