Impact Recruitment is partnering with a growing multidisciplinary engineering firm seeking an experienced Civil Engineer, P.E. to join its team in Pensacola, Florida.


This position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of municipal, county, state, and federal infrastructure projects while collaborating with a team of engineering professionals focused on delivering innovative civil engineering solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hydrology, hydraulics, stormwater management, and public infrastructure design.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, development, implementation, and analysis of civil engineering projects.
• Prepare engineering evaluations, cost estimates, technical reports, and project documentation.
• Design and analyze stormwater management systems, including ponds, drainage, collection, and conveyance systems.
• Support roadway and transportation design projects.
• Contribute to water and wastewater infrastructure planning and design efforts.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies regarding permitting requirements and permit application preparation.
• Assist with project management, budgeting, scheduling, and client coordination.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, surveyors, and support staff to deliver successful projects.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and technical expertise.
• Ensure projects comply with applicable engineering standards, regulations, and client requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Florida or the ability to obtain Florida licensure through reciprocity.
• 8-10 years of civil engineering experience, preferably within the public infrastructure sector.
• Strong experience in stormwater management, drainage design, hydrology, and hydraulics.
• Understanding of water/wastewater systems and transportation engineering principles.
• Experience working with permitting agencies and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft 365 preferred.
• Experience with ICPR or other hydraulic/hydrologic modeling software is highly desirable.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
