Emergency Department Registered Nurse

Location

Pasadena, Texas

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: 2 PM - 2 AM, working alternate weekends.

Job Description

The Emergency Department is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide exceptional care to patients in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have advanced critical thinking skills and extensive experience in trauma, STEMI, Stroke, and Sepsis.

Responsibilities

• Manage and care for patients with critical conditions.
• Perform advanced medical procedures such as thoracotomy and arterial lines.
• Utilize advanced equipment including monitors, defibrillators, ultrasound, and EKG machines.
• Coordinate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license.
• Certifications: ENPC, TNCC, ACLS, PALS, BLS, CPI with TIC. (NRP and STABLE is a plus)
• Extensive experience in Emergency Department settings, preferably adult and pediatric.
• Completion of HCA Nurse Contract and Pool certifications.
