SAP Supply Chain Solution Architect (m/f/d) Location: Germany (Hybrid) About The Opportunity A leading international retail and e-commerce organization is seeking an experienced SAP Supply Chain Solution Architect to join its SAP Center of Excellence (CoE). This position offers the opportunity to play a key role in a large-scale SAP transformation program focused on modernizing supply chain and logistics capabilities. The successful candidate will combine deep SAP Supply Chain expertise with strong architecture skills to design and deliver innovative, scalable, and business-critical solutions. You will work closely with business stakeholders, product teams, architects, and SAP specialists to drive digital transformation initiatives across areas such as Supply Chain Planning, Procurement, Inventory Management, Logistics, Transportation, and Warehouse Management. Key Responsibilities Design and deliver scalable SAP Supply Chain solutions aligned with business and technology strategies. Define solution architecture standards, best practices, and technical roadmaps. Provide architectural leadership across SAP Supply Chain domains and integration landscapes. Collaborate with business stakeholders, product teams, and engineering leadership to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions. Drive solution design across areas including: Supply Chain Planning Procurement Inventory Management Logistics Execution Warehouse Management Transportation Management Ensure reliability, scalability, performance, and maintainability of SAP solutions. Establish monitoring, KPI visibility, reporting, and operational excellence standards. Support SAP transformation programs and cloud adoption initiatives. Act as a mentor and trusted advisor for development and architecture teams. Promote engineering excellence, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement. Evaluate emerging SAP technologies and recommend innovation opportunities. Required Experience & Qualifications Extensive experience in SAP Solution Architecture with a focus on Supply Chain and Logistics processes. Proven track record delivering complex SAP transformation programs in enterprise environments. Strong understanding of end-to-end SAP Supply Chain processes and integration scenarios. Hands‑on experience with SAP technologies including:

SAP S/4HANA

SAP MM

SAP EWM

SAP TM

SAP Ariba

SAP IBP

Experience designing enterprise integration architectures and API‑driven solutions. Strong knowledge of modern architecture principles, including: Microservices Event‑driven architectures API management Cloud‑native design principlesObservability and monitoring Solid software engineering and solution design capabilities. Experience working within Agile product delivery environments. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Preferred Experience Retail, e‑commerce, consumer goods, manufacturing, or distribution industry experience. Experience with enterprise‑scale digital transformation programs. Knowledge of SAP cloud solutions and hybrid landscapes. Familiarity with engineering best practices such as: Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) Test‑Driven Development (TDD) Domain‑Driven Design (DDD) Behaviour‑Driven Development (BDD) Design Patterns Personal Attributes Strategic thinker with strong problem‑solving abilities.
