Overview

Growing personal injury law firm is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join its Charlotte office. This is a high-priority replacement search following the departure of a law partner. The attorney will take ownership of an active litigation caseload and serve as the lead attorney on personal injury matters throughout the litigation process.

This is an excellent opportunity for a self-sufficient litigator who enjoys autonomy, courtroom work, and building a long-term career with a growing firm.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage personal injury litigation cases from filing through resolution
• Conduct depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and court appearances
• Handle settlement negotiations and litigation strategy
• Prepare pleadings, motions, discovery, and case documentation
• Communicate directly with clients throughout the litigation process
• Work closely with existing support staff and legal assistants
• Assume responsibility for existing active caseload being transitioned within the firm
• Represent clients confidently in hearings and trial settings as needed

Required Qualifications

• Licensed Attorney in North Carolina
• Prior experience practicing Personal Injury law
• Demonstrated litigation experience
• Experience conducting:
  • Depositions
  • Mediations
  • Arbitrations
  • Court appearances
• Ability to independently manage a litigation caseload
• Strong communication and client relationship skills
