Cook Position
Our client, a prominent organization in the food service industry, is seeking a Cook to join their team. As a Cook, you will be part of the culinary support staff supporting the East Campus Dining Hall. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, attention to detail, and a collaborative spirit which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Cook
Location: Harrisonburg, VA
Pay Range: $19 per hour
Shift: Monday- Friday 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
What's the Job?
- Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and safety guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen
- Assist in the organization and storage of ingredients and supplies
- Follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment as required
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and quality food service
What's Needed?
- Experience as a cook or in a related culinary role
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking methods, and food safety regulations
- Ability to acquire food safety certification
- Basic math and counting skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
