Seeking Assistant Lights -- Christmas Story Big League Productions (BLP) seeks submissions for Assistant Lights for the upcoming 2026 national touring production of A CHRISTMAS STORY. RESPONSIBILITIES: This full-time, touring position will report to Head Electrician, Head Carpenter, Producers and General Manager, working closely with Production Stage Manager and Company Manager while on the road. This position is responsible for assisting load-in, load-out, set-up, run-of-show duties, post-show protocol, and tear-down of all lights elements, ensuring lights run safely and accurately.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Strong written and verbal communication skills Previous touring experience, while not mandatory, is preferred. A valid US driver's license is required. The ability to lift up to 50 lbs., push/pull 100lbs, stand for extended periods of time (3+ hours), navigate multiple levels of stairs.

TIMELINE:

Tech Starts (Elmira, NY): November 4, 206 National Tour: November 4 – December 24, 2026 The tour will play a mixture of one-week, split-week and one-night performances.

COMPENSATION:

Salary starts at $900 per week (increasing with experience). Hotel and per diem provided on the road. Layoffs are unpaid.
