Job Description

The Fabrication Fitter is responsible for assembling, fitting, and welding stainless steel components according to engineering drawings and specifications to produce high-quality fabricated parts and assemblies. This role requires strong technical skills in metal fabrication, precision measuring, and an in-depth understanding of stainless-steel materials and fabrication techniques.

Responsibilities

• Identify and cut various diameter tubing and fittings to conform to customer specifications.
• Utilize measuring devices such as calipers, height gauges, and tape measures on a daily basis.
• Perform job functions in a safe and efficient manner.
• Read and interpret blueprints and shop plans.
• Assist in developing designs for welding projects.
• Operate a variety of tools and equipment.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor or management.

Essential Skills

• Experience in TIG welding and metal fabrication.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Proficiency in using measuring tools.
• In-depth understanding of stainless steel materials and fabrication techniques.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in basic mathematics is preferred.
• Willingness to learn is required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

This is a Contract position based out of Arcade, NY.

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $32.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Arcade,NY.
