Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) – RN

Golden Pavilion Healthcare | Daly City, CA

Salary: $120,000 - $130,000 per year (DOE)

Golden Pavilion Healthcare is seeking an experienced and compassionate Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our leadership team. This is an outstanding opportunity for a clinical leader who is passionate about delivering exceptional resident care, developing nursing staff, and driving excellence in a skilled nursing environment.

Working alongside the Director of Nursing, the ADON plays a vital role in overseeing nursing operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, supporting staff development, and maintaining the highest standards of resident care.

• Assist the Director of Nursing with the daily management of the Nursing Services Department.

• Supervise, mentor, and support Unit Managers and nursing staff to ensure exceptional clinical outcomes.

• Monitor resident care, address clinical concerns promptly, and ensure compliance with individualized care plans.

• Assist with staffing, scheduling, and maintaining appropriate nurse coverage for all shifts.

• Oversee infection prevention efforts by tracking infections, analyzing trends, and collaborating with the Facility Educator on ongoing staff education.

• Participate in state and federal surveys and help maintain survey readiness.

• Assist with recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and evaluating Registered Nurses, Licensed Vocational Nurses, and Certified Nursing Assistants.

• Review and update nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility standards.

• Foster a positive, collaborative culture focused on quality care, accountability, and teamwork.

• Current, active California Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.

• Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) required.

• Strong knowledge of state and federal long-term care regulations.

• Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Commitment to providing outstanding resident-centered care.

• Competitive annual salary of $120,000-$130,000 DOE
