Qualifications and Experience:
- Current and valid School Psychologist certification or license
- Background in psychological assessment, crisis intervention, and student advocacy
- Experience in K-12 school settings preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to travel between multiple school sites as needed
- Dedication to cultural sensitivity and inclusivity in diverse school communities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and provide written reports for students
- Develop and implement intervention strategies to support students’ academic, social, and emotional growth
- Collaborate with special education teams for IEP development and eligibility determinations
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, consultations, and crisis response as needed
- Offer counseling for individuals and groups, focusing on skill-building and problem-solving
- Serve as an educational resource for staff and families regarding psychological services and student support strategies
- Maintain confidential and accurate records consistent with ethical and legal standards
