Serve multiple school sites, offering expert guidance and assessment for students while maintaining a flexible schedule of 15 hours per week near Sebastian, FL.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid certification and licensure as a School Psychologist
- Previous experience in a school environment preferred
- Strong ability to conduct assessments and create individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with educators, families, and administrators
- Strong ethical standards and confidentiality with sensitive student information
- Ability to manage a caseload across multiple school locations
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for students as needed
- Provide direct support and interventions for students facing academic, social, or behavioral challenges
- Collaborate with school teams to develop, implement, and monitor IEPs
- Offer consultation to parents, teachers, and staff, promoting positive educational outcomes
- Contribute expertise in crisis response and intervention in school settings
- Travel between school sites within the district as required
- Maintain timely records and documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
