We are looking for a Full Charge Bookkeeper to support a growing organization in Neptune Beach, Florida offices. This contract opportunity is ideal for someone who can confidently manage day-to-day accounting activities across several entities while keeping financial records accurate and well organized. The position offers a part-time schedule of 24 hours per week and requires a hands-on individual who is comfortable working with accounting systems, payroll review, and vendor payments.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee full-cycle bookkeeping functions for multiple entities, including management companies and apartment communities, while maintaining accurate financial records.

• Record and balance general ledger activity, ensuring debits, credits, and supporting documentation are properly entered and reviewed.

• Process accounts payable transactions, issue vendor payments, and maintain organized records for invoices and disbursements.

• Manage accounts receivable and allocate staff-related costs accurately across the appropriate entities.

• Review automated payroll output through Paychex to confirm accuracy and resolve discrepancies before final processing.

• Perform bank and account reconciliations on a routine basis to ensure transactions align with internal records and financial statements.

• Use QuickBooks, Excel, and Microsoft Office tools to prepare reports, track accounting activity, and support daily financial operations.

• Maintain account reconciliation and ledger accuracy within RealPage, including ongoing account maintenance and alignment between property management and general ledger records.

• Ability to work fully onsite in our Neptune Beach, Florida offices

• Demonstrated experience in full-charge bookkeeping with responsibility for end-to-end accounting tasks.

• Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks, including online and enterprise environments.

• Hands-on experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.

• Ability to reconcile bank accounts and other financial records with a high level of accuracy.

• Familiarity with payroll review processes, preferably using Paychex or a similar payroll platform.

• Experience supporting accounting functions for multiple entities or business units.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

• Exposure to RealPage or similar property management/accounting software is preferred.
