Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Desired qualifications and experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field
- Valid state teaching certification in Special Education
- Experience working with students with disabilities (mild to moderate or moderate to severe)
- Deep understanding of IEP development and implementation
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong commitment to fostering an inclusive, encouraging learning environment
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering differentiated instruction to meet individual student needs
- Assessing student progress towards IEP goals and documenting outcomes
- Managing classroom behavior and implementing positive behavior strategies
- Coordinating with general educators, therapists, and family members to support student development
- Participating in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development sessions
- Adapting curriculum and teaching methods to ensure accessibility for all learners
