Flexographic Press Operator

Job Description

Growing label company has openings for an experienced flexographic press operator. Flexo printing experience a must!

As a flexographic pressman, you will produce labels in a safe and efficient manner. Printing experience is necessary for this position. This includes the set-up of plates, dies, inks, and coatings as specified, loading substrates onto the press, mix ink colors and wash up press components. You will complete quality checks to ensure that the printed product meets all requirements and record all required production data, and complete basic housekeeping and preventive maintenance tasks. May continuously stand for an extended period and stoop and kneel frequently. Some walking and lifting to 50 lbs required. Close vision, distance, and color vision necessary to distinguish color variations. The noise level in the work environment is usually medium to loud. Must be flexible to work hours as required by workload and customer mandated deadlines.
