Manufacturing Adjunct Instructor

Job Description Summary The Manufacturing Technology department is seeking a positive, supportive, and dynamic Manufacturing Technology Instructor to teach a diverse community of learners. Preference will be given to candidates who are committed to student success, equity, inclusion, and the use of the classroom/lab experience to enhance workplace understanding and performance. The instructor will teach a range of coursework in process manufacturing and power operations relevant to manufacturing industries and may work day, evening, or weekend classes and travel to other campuses. Responsibilities Teach coursework in process manufacturing and power operations to a diverse student body. Participate collaboratively in curriculum review and development, outcomes assessment, advisory council activities, projects, and other department or college activities. Qualifications Minimum of 8 years full‑time related occupational experience OR approved journey‑worker status; OR an associate’s degree in a career field and 4 years full‑time related occupational experience; OR a bachelor’s degree in the discipline or a related discipline and 2 years full‑time related occupational experience. Ability to conduct a teaching demonstration as part of the interview process. Successful completion of a background check. Compensation Compensation will be commensurate with the level of the position, education, and experience. The current rate is $580 per Equivalent Credit Hour (ECH). Minimum pay is $0.00, but actual compensation will be higher based on experience and qualifications.
