Job Description Black Bear Lodge in Sautee, GA is currently recruiting a Medical Director for their Adult Addiction and Psychiatric Treatment Programs. /n Clinical Leadership Role with staff supervision and participation in executive administrative/clinical meetings as needed. /n Position Overview: /n /n - Employment Type: Hospital Employed, onsite /n - Schedule / Hours: (15-20 hours per week), Monday /Thursday or Tuesday/Friday onsite, shared weekend call 1:4, very easy telephonic call only /n - Patient Volume: Varies by census /n - Location: Sautee, GA - Beautiful North Georgia Mountains /n - Practice Setting: The physician will see a diverse adult patient population with substance abuse treatment issues in a PHP setting. /n - Support / Care Team: Multidisciplinary with BC Psychiatrists, BH Techs, BH RN, Psychiatric NPs, Social Workers and Therapists /n - EMR / Technology: Tier (updating to new EMR in the fall) /n - Growth & Development: Advancement opportunities within an ever-growing organization. /n /n Position Duties & Highlights: /n /n - Competitive compensation package /n - Duties will include admission evaluations and assessments, treatment team management, discharge and administrative duties as related to patient care. /n /n *BE/BC in General Psychiatry or BE/BC in Addiction Medicine with a GA license or the ability to obtain it. /n /n Black Bear Lodge is located in the serene forest foothills of the North GA Mountains and is a place of solace for those suffering from addiction and mental health issues.
