Project Manager – Commercial ConstructionLocation: Atlanta, GA Position Type: Full-TimeA well-established commercial construction company based in Atlanta, GA is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a construction professional who has progressed from an Assistant Project Manager role to a Project Manager and is ready to take full ownership of projects from preconstruction through completion.The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of Project Management experience, a strong background managing ground-up construction projects, and experience overseeing projects ranging from $1M–$20M. Commercial construction experience is preferred, but candidates with diverse ground-up project experience will be considered.ResponsibilitiesManage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through final completionDevelop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and overall project plansCoordinate owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teamsReview plans, specifications, contracts, and project documentsManage project costs, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and pay applicationsLead project meetings and maintain strong communication with project stakeholdersMonitor project progress, quality, safety, and financial performanceIdentify potential issues and develop solutions to keep projects on schedule and within budgetProvide leadership and guidance to Assistant Project Managers, Project Engineers, and other project staffMaintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and design teamsEnsure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the company's quality standardsQualifications5+ years of construction Project Management experiencePrevious experience as an Assistant Project Manager/APM requiredExperience managing projects ranging from $1M–$20MCommercial construction experience strongly preferredDiverse ground-up construction experience will be consideredStrong understanding of construction processes, contracts, scheduling, and project financialsExcellent communication, organizational, and leadership skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and effectively resolve project challengesProficiency with construction management software and Microsoft OfficeBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferredWhy Join?Join a growing and respected Birmingham-based construction companyOpportunity to take ownership of significant commercial projectsWork on a diverse range of ground-up construction projectsCollaborative team environment with opportunities for career growthCompetitive salary and comprehensive benefits packageIf you're a Project Manager who has successfully progressed from an APM role and is ready to take the next step with a strong Atlanta-based contractor, we'd like to hear from you.
