Registered Nurse 1 – Correctional HealthScheduleShifts: 2x12s (9a–9p) and 2x8s (9a–5p)Assignment DetailsContract length: 26–52 weeksRequirementsCurrent license and registration as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York StateBasic Life Support (BLS) certificationCOVID-19 vaccination (medical exemptions only)ResponsibilitiesProvide direct nursing care and health assessments for incarcerated individualsDevelop and implement nursing care plansDiagnose and treat responses to health problems; provide health teaching and counselingSupervise and train Graduate Nurses, LPNs, and direct care staffConsult with treatment teams and participate on interdisciplinary health teamsCompliance / NotesCandidate must clear the state-run Criminal History Form before starting; clearance can take up to 4 weeks.Client Details City Romulus State NY
