Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required, and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is recommended. National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification is preferred. Recommended skills include strong clinical judgment, adaptability, teamwork, and proficiency with advanced critical care equipment.
