Make an immediate impact supporting students by bringing your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) to a dynamic school-based environment near Irving, TX! This flexible, part-time contract role offers 20-25 hours per week and is ideal for professionals passionate about making a difference in students’ communication skills and educational outcomes.
This opportunity includes meaningful responsibilities such as providing direct speech and language services, leading evaluations, managing IEPs, and offering supervision to SLPAs. Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
- Valid state licensure as an SLP.
- Previous school-based SLP experience preferred.
- Ability to supervise SLPAs, provide constructive feedback, and support professional growth.
- Strong documentation and organizational abilities for IEP management.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
In This Role, You Will:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations.
- Develop, implement, and track progress on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Deliver direct speech-language intervention services to students.
- Supervise and mentor SLPAs, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
- Attend and participate in IEP meetings.
- Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and support staff.
- Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with school and state guidelines.
