This is a Part-Time position (16 hours) including every Saturday.Job Summary:Performs various hematologic, immunologic and chemical analyses as assigned accounting to established standards of quality control.Calibrates, operates, and maintains all instrumentation and equipment relative to the area.Documents all required Quality Control, Quality Improvement, and preventative maintenance.Prepares solutions and reagents.Recognizes problems and deviations from normal, independently identifies their causes, processes solutions or alternative courses of actions, assists in the resolution, and documents corrective action per protocol.Evaluates the validity of laboratory data according to the principal of accuracy, precision, methodology, and physiology.Records and reports results accurately utilizing reporting mechanism, manual, Laboratory Information System, phone and/or fax.
