Technical Sales Specialist – Distribution & Automation Reno, Nevada | Field-Based | Full-Time | Full Training Provided About the Role JagCo is hiring a Technical Sales Specialist to support our customers across Reno and the broader Western US territory . You’ll work directly with strategic accounts — primarily automotive manufacturers and their suppliers — focusing on distribution, joining technologies, automation, and AI‑driven solutions. This is a field-based role : you’ll manage your own territory, build strong customer relationships, and represent JagCo’s full product portfolio, backed by resources from partners like Tesla and Atlas Copco. What You'll Do Territory relationship building — Grow and maintain customer relationships across your assigned region Account needs assessment — Understand customer requirements and identify how JagCo can support them Territory business planning — Build and execute a strategic plan for your market Sales forecasting — Report accurate forecasts and competitive insights Regular travel — Travel regularly to customer sites (day-to-day driving within the territory, valid driver's license required) Reports to: Sales Manager What We're Looking For Must be currently located in Reno, NV or willing to relocate Valid U.S. driver’s license Reliable vehicle access Comfortable with regular daily driving/travel to customer sites Authorized to work in the U.S. without new visa sponsorship A "hunter" mentality — someone who's driven, competitive, and loves winning new business Strong communication and presentation skills Comfortable in a fast-paced environment Good problem-solver with attention to detail Willingness to learn technical concepts (fastening, automation, controls) — no prior experience required, we'll train you Prior sales, account management, or customer-facing experience is a plus (internships and part-time work count!)
