About The Role Contract Type: Fixed term Working Hours: Full Time Number of Positions: 1 Qualifications Required: Numeracy and literacy skills at least equivalent to RQF Level 2; good ICT skills are also desirable Start Date: 1st September 2026 Salary: £33,143 per annum This is a full‑time position, working hours 08:15-16:30, Monday to Friday. This is an All‑Year‑Round (AYR) paid position, worked as term time only with an additional 10 days. The postholder is required to work an additional 45 minutes per day, above the standard 35 hours per week, as well as one week during the school holidays and one further week made up of INSET days, Open Evenings, Parents’ Evenings, Results Days, and similar events. The exact additional days will be agreed with the line manager. Responsibilities Provide high‑quality pastoral and academic support to Sixth Form students by ensuring safeguarding, promoting positive behaviour, monitoring attendance and progress, supporting post‑16 pathways, liaising with families and staff, and contributing to enrolment, transition, wellbeing initiatives, and enrichment activities to improve student outcomes.
