Labcorp seeks a Courier II to transport medical specimens and lab supplies across New York City routes. The position involves pickup and delivery operations with shift flexibility, requiring a valid driver's license and minimum three years of courier or driver experience.
Responsibilities
- Execute daily pickup and delivery routes for medical specimens and lab supplies
- Operate company vehicle safely and manage handheld electronic devices for route tracking
- Provide on-route training to new couriers and drivers
- Handle specimens and lab samples following safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch for additional pickups and optimize routes based on traffic
Requirements
- 3+ years courier or driver experience
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- At least 21 years old
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 3+ years customer service experience preferred
Compensation: $18.10 - $21.00 per hour
