Must-Have: Reliable Transportation
Description: Maintain established department policies and procedures. Adhere to objectives, safety, environmental, and infection control standards. Process a variety of specimens in accordance with established protocols. Perform data entry into both hospital and laboratory information systems. Monitor requests for laboratory testing that have not been processed. Conduct quality assurance checks on outpatient requisitions to ensure correctness of data entry. Rotate onto weekends and holidays as needed. Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is preferred. Work with adult and adolescent medical patients. Education requirement is a High School Diploma or equivalent.
