Product Manager - Ceramics Indianapolis, IN, United States | req32400 What you will enjoy doing* You will take a hands-on approach to understand process and product capabilities and how they transfer to customer needs with focus markets of aerospace and energy You will collaborate with engineering, production and commercial to drive priorities and decision making for the product line. You will work at our main materials site part of a cross-functional team to ensure strategies and projects are aligned with the correct resources and market objectives. Further you will understand the product line marketplace, customer needs, technical alternatives, demand drivers, industry capacity, market share and competitor landscape You will actively contribute to product presentations, marketing materials and support the positioning of our products toward customers and internal stakeholders Additionally, you will utilize your technical skills and experience to engage with key internal and external stakeholders to drive decision-making You will manage product allocation, demand planning, scheduling, specifications, and related product data Drive performance improvements, overall product line health using KPIs, operational feedback, and structured lessons-learned processes Define and evolve the long-term product vision and roadmap for ceramics in-line with global business objectives, new product development (NPD), regional needs, and industry trends What Makes You Great You will have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Business Administration, or a related field required, with 5+ years of relevant professional experience preferred Technical aptitude or engineering background is beneficial but not required Background in materials with focus areas in aerospace and/or energy beneficial but not required Demonstrated ability to make sound business decisions and exercise strong judgment in a fast-paced environment Proven ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams without direct authority Self-motivated and organized, with the ability to prioritize competing responsibilities and meet business objectives Willingness and ability to travel up to 20% as required This role will be based in Indianapolis, IN and will be required to work on-site unless traveling.
