Job Description

Soldering Technician

We are seeking a detail-oriented Soldering Technician to join our team in Wood Dale, IL. This position is responsible for soldering and assembling electronic components and circuit boards while maintaining high-quality and production standards in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform hand soldering of electronic components and assemblies.
• Assemble small electronic parts according to specifications.
• Read and follow work instructions, diagrams, blueprints, and assembly drawings.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
• Identify and report defective materials or products.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Meet daily production and quality goals.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous soldering experience preferred.
• Experience working with electronic components is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy.
