Construction Project Manager – Lead Commercial Renovation Projects Nationwide for C Miller Construction

Job Overview:

• Company: C Miller Construction, Inc.
• Salary/Pay Rate: $70,000 - $90,000 per year plus Project Completion Bonus.
• Location: Requires 100% travel - Tarpon Springs, Florida
• Job/Employment Type: Full Time.
• Project Scope: Commercial renovations and tenant improvements.
• Mandatory Licenses & Certifications: Valid driver's license.

The Opportunity :

You will take full ownership of diverse commercial renovation projects from pre-construction through final closeout. Working directly with clients and stakeholders, you have the autonomy to drive execution and visibly impact our growing team. This role is built for a proactive leader who thrives on turning blueprints into completed spaces.

How You Will Make an Impact:

• Manage commercial renovation projects from kickoff through completion to deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Develop and maintain precise project schedules, budgets, and timelines to ensure profitability targets are met.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and material procurement to keep field operations moving seamlessly.
• Review plans, specifications, and scope of work to ensure absolute accuracy and technical feasibility.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor build progress, quality, and strict safety compliance.
• Prepare and process critical documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and pay applications.
• Resolve real-time field issues and technical obstacles quickly to minimize project delays.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of construction management experience specifically within commercial renovation or tenant improvements.
• Strong understanding of construction means, methods, and the ability to interpret complex drawings.
• Proficiency with project management software such as Procore, Buildertrend, or similar industry tools.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and priorities simultaneously.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to accommodate travel needs.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

• Five or more years of dedicated commercial construction management experience.
• Previous experience working for a small to mid-sized general contractor.
• Balanced professional background encompassing both hands-on field experience and office management roles.
• Comprehensive knowledge of local building codes, permitting processes, and regulatory requirements.
