Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery

Location: Des Moines, IA

Specialty: Labor & Delivery

Position Type: Travel

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Compensation: $2284 - $2752 | Shift: 3x12 Nights

Key Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive care to patients undergoing antepartum, C-section, and vaginal deliveries.
Manage high-risk obstetric cases and administer medications such as magnesium, insulin, and pitocin.
Float between multiple campuses as required.
Utilize EPIC EMR for precise documentation.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

Current Iowa or compact/multistate RN license.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Labor & Delivery setting.
Experience with high-risk obstetrics in a level I trauma facility.
Completion of at least one travel assignment within the last 12 months.
Intermediate or Advanced EFM/AWHONN certification.
Familiarity with EPIC EMR.
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications (AHA).
