Overview Blackbeard Holdings is an energy investment platform established in 2014 through an equity partnership with NGP Energy Capital. We specialize in acquiring and developing high-quality, low-risk oil & gas and land assets to maximize efficiency and profitability in a dynamic industry. Blackbeard currently operates approximately 70,000 BOEPD in the Permian basin and invests across the upstream, midstream, land and minerals value chains. The Strategic Planning and Corporate Development Analyst will support strategy, capital allocation, M&A, capital markets, and operations initiatives across a diverse portfolio of energy- and land- related businesses. The position is located in Fort Worth, Texas and offers broad exposure to virtually every facet of the business by working directly with Finance, Accounting, Land, Engineering, and the Executive Leadership Team. The role is designed for candidates seeking meaningful responsibility, intellectual rigor, and hands-on involvement in investment and operating decisions, and provides a strong foundation for growth into more senior strategy, corporate development, or investment roles over time. Responsibilities Collaborate with the A&D team to develop and evaluate new prospects and acquisitions Build processes to incorporate market and public data into internal analysis for an ever-evolving integrated energy company Prepare presentations and generate analyses for various projects, including investor meetings and internal valuations Assist the FP&A team in generating and maintaining models based on financial research & analysis, operations data, and reserve reports, including ad hoc projects Continuously improve, automate, and simplify processes to help analysis and decision making Perform additional duties and tasks as needed Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance 3+ years of relevant work experience in Corporate Development, Investment Banking, Private Equity, Strategy Consulting, or Operational Finance roles Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and has the ability to learn industry-specific accounting and other software systems Proven work ethic, initiative, and communication skills Ability to work well independently and within groups, and move fluidly between deep analysis and practical decision support Comfortable operating with incomplete information in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment Possesses a strong interest in the Oil and Gas Industry Interested candidates should contact Sarah Roberts at View email address on click.appcast.io. #J-18808-Ljbffr BLACKBEARD OPERATING, LLC
