Compensation

• $28.00 - $38.00/hr starting pay
• Additional $3.00 - $4.00/hr shift premium
• Top earners can exceed $42.00/hr

2:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Be Doing

This role is ideal for machinists who enjoy problem-solving and working independently.

You'll be machining custom components rather than running the same production part every day. Machinists are encouraged to think critically, make adjustments, and continuously improve processes.

Responsibilities include:

• Setting up and operating CNC lathes and mills
• Editing G & M code at the controller
• Reading and interpreting blueprints
• Performing first-piece and in-process inspections
• Calculating feeds, speeds, and offsets
• Troubleshooting tooling and machining issues
• Working to close tolerances on precision components
• Performing metric conversions and shop math calculations

Qualifications

Required

• CNC machining experience
• Mill and/or lathe setup experience
• Blueprint reading skills
• Ability to edit G & M code
• Understanding of feeds, speeds, tooling, and machining fundamentals
• Experience using precision measuring equipment
• Strong understanding of tolerances and quality requirements

Preferred

• Conversational programming experience
• Experience with custom machining environments
• Knowledge of GD&T
• Advanced setup and troubleshooting capabilities

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $83200.00/yr.
