Manager, Medical Affairs MSL / External Scientific Engagement (Nutrition)

Baxter seeks a Manager of Medical Affairs MSL and External Scientific Engagement for a remote, field-based role in nutrition. The position involves building scientific relationships with healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders, delivering evidence-based communication, and gathering clinical insights to inform strategy and advance patient care.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain scientific relationships with KOLs, healthcare professionals, researchers, and healthcare organizations
Deliver evidence-based scientific communication through one-on-one engagements, presentations, and educational programs
Gather and communicate clinical insights, emerging trends, and evidence gaps to inform Medical Affairs strategy
Identify opportunities for research collaborations, investigator-initiated studies, and strategic partnerships
Lead Medical Affairs projects and initiatives, collaborating across R&D, Regulatory, Marketing, and Commercial teams

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in scientific, clinical, or healthcare-related field
Advanced degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, RD, NP, PA) preferred
Medical Affairs, Scientific Affairs, MSL, or related healthcare/life sciences experience
Experience presenting scientific or clinical information to healthcare professionals
Clinical nutrition experience preferred
Ability to interpret and communicate complex scientific and clinical data
Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills

Compensation: $128,000-$176,000 base annually
