We employ the latest technology to efficiently and effectively serve our Dental patients. Our state of the art Dental facilities are equipped with panoramic x-rays and digital intraoral scanners to take impressions and engage patients in their oral health care. Our dentists and residents are certified in the use of the 9.3 micron CO2 hard and soft tissue laser, which allows us to perform fillings without the need for local anesthesia. This laser also allows us to provide additional services to our patients such as gingivectomies and crown lengthening without needing to refer to specialists. Our electronic health records system is integrated with our Medical and Integrated Behavioral Health departments to allow us to work together to improve the overall health of our community.What You'll Do: The Dental Receptionist will answer phone calls, greet patients, schedule appointments, maintain office appearance, and perform various clerical. The successful candidate has:High School Diploma or equivalentCurrent BLS certificationMinimum of 1 year of related experience in dental setting preferredExperience with EPIC Wisdom or dental scheduler preferredKnowledge of government (Medi-Cal) and non-government payers for dental insurances and dental terminologyProficient with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace softwareAbility to communicate in a respectful and professional manner with all staffMaintain a positive environment that is focused on patient careAbility to work in a fast past environment and meet daily production targetsAdditional RequirementsMust have a current and valid California driver's license and the ability to provide proof of personal auto insurance on the vehicle driven during working hours.If selected for an employment opportunity with Elica Health Centers, external hires must provide proof of immunizations (Hepatitis B, MMR, Varicella & Tetanus), tuberculosis clearance, and proof of COVID-19 vaccination status* prior to their scheduled start date.
