Make an impact at DTCCAs an Accounting Analyst in DTCC's Financial Reporting & Accounting (FR&A) organization, you will help support accounting, financial reporting, and regulatory reporting activities that enable accurate financial information across the enterprise. This team advises on accounting treatment for complex transactions and supports the preparation of financial reports used by management, regulators, and other stakeholders.At DTCC, we help power the global financial markets by providing critical infrastructure that supports the safe and efficient processing of securities transactions. The program combines hands-on business experience, structured learning, mentorship, networking, and regular feedback to help analysts build technical, functional, and leadership capabilities.What you will gainA structured onboarding experience, including Welcome Week and program orientation.Hands-on experience through meaningful work aligned to business priorities.Exposure across the team through projects, shadowing, and stretch assignments.Monthly learning sessions, business education, professional development, and opportunities to hear from leaders and subject matter experts.Regular feedback, including a 90-day feedback and assessment milestone, manager coaching, and program check-ins.Mentorship, networking, and opportunities to build relationships across DTCC.What you will doRole ResponsibilitiesAnalyze financial activity and support accounting processes used to maintain accurate books and records.Assist with monthly close activities, journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.Support the preparation of financial reports, schedules, workpapers, and documentation used for management and regulatory reporting.Collaborate with accounting, finance, and other business partners to gather information, investigate issues, and support reporting deadlines.Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, controls, documentation, and operational effectiveness.What will help you succeedRequiredPursuing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Expected graduation date: May 2027Minimum GPA: 3.2Authorization to work permanently in the United States without current or future sponsorship.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.PreferredInternship, project, research, student organization, volunteer, or leadership experience related to the role.Interest in financial reporting, accounting operations, financial controls, and financial services.Exposure to Excel, financial statement analysis, ERP systems, accounting processes, or reporting tools.
