Accountant Opportunity

A growing global manufacturing organization is seeking an Accountant to join its corporate finance team. This role will play a key part in the monthly close process, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and support for internal controls and compliance initiatives.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment that offers exposure to multiple business units and international operations.

Job Description

• Prepare and review monthly journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities.
• Assist with preparation of internal and external financial reporting packages.
• Analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts and investigate variances.
• Participate in annual audits and collaborate with external auditors.
• Support compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with cash flow reporting and various treasury-related activities.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the accounting function.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc financial analysis projects.
• Partner with operations, supply chain, HR, and other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
• Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
