Veterinary Client Service Representative (CSR)

Welcome clients and patients with warmth and professionalism Answer phones, respond to messages, and schedule appointments Help clients understand hospital policies, services, and next steps Check patients in and out accurately and efficiently Process payments and review invoices with clients Maintain accurate client and patient information Coordinate communication between clients and the medical team Respond calmly and compassionately when clients are worried, frustrated, or grieving Keep the reception area organized, welcoming, and ready for the day Support teammates and adapt as hospital needs change You May Be a Great Fit If You Communicate clearly and confidently in person, by phone, and in writing Can balance empathy with healthy professional boundaries Stay organized while managing multiple priorities and interruptions Pay close attention to details Are comfortable discussing costs and collecting payment Remain steady during emotionally difficult situations Take responsibility, accept feedback, and follow through Enjoy collaborating with a veterinary team Are comfortable learning cloud-based practice-management software Understand that clients are our allies in caring for their pets Previous veterinary or medical reception experience is preferred, but we welcome candidates with strong customer-service skills and a genuine interest in veterinary medicine. Experience with Fear Free practices is a plus. What to Expect Veterinary client service is meaningful, fast-paced, and sometimes emotionally challenging. This position involves frequent phone and computer use, communication with people experiencing stress or grief, and occasional exposure to animal-related sights, sounds, and odors. We are looking for someone who will contribute to a respectful workplace while helping us deliver collaborative care for every companion.
