Truck Driver - 2nd Shift - F&B Manufacturing

Pay Range: $24–28/hr Position Summary Truck Driver responsible for the safe operation of any and all company vehicles, ensuring the chain of custody for finished products is maintained and that refrigerated items remain at required temperatures during transport. Transport goods from SunRype dock to designated delivery locations, maintaining product integrity. Follow SunRype Food Safety guidelines and GMP. Load and unload all vehicles (bins, bulk, solid waste or slurry). Operate forklift; forklift certification required. Perform routine maintenance on vehicles. Complete and manage paperwork for deliveries and pickups, and maintain daily road and maintenance logs. Maintain equipment in clean condition. Notify supervisor of upcoming maintenance that needs scheduling. Qualifications Physical Requirements Lift and carry 50 pounds. Carry 25 pounds up and down 21 stairs. Stand for 8 hours during a shift minus breaks. Climb a 12' 6" vertical ladder up a truck tanker. Work in hot, humid, and/or cold conditions. Stand, bend, squat, crawl, kneel, reach above shoulders, climb ladders, and crawl in tight and awkward workplaces for long periods. Have good hand‑eye coordination. Non-Physical Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred. Minimum one year experience as a truck driver preferred. Able to work any shift, overtime, and any or all days of the week in accordance with plant needs. Able to drive safely, using mirrors while backing, turning, or changing lanes. Able to secure load, verify before moving truck. Able to stay clear of forklifts while truck is being loaded/unloaded. Perform daily equipment checks and report any problems to maintenance. Excellent communication skills. Superb organizational skills and attention to detail. Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement. Personally invested in the success of the business. Motivated, focused, and accountable for results. Licensure, Registration, Certification Valid WA State CDL endorsement for combinations and tankers; Class A CDL required. First‑aid card. External Relationships Vendors Customers Internal Relationships Truck Driver interacts and communicates effectively with all employees; especially the shift supervisor.
