Job Summary and Qualifications

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for coordinating and delivering exceptional, patient-centered care tailored to the specific needs of the department, adhering to the standards of practice relevant to their state and specialty. Working closely with medical professionals and other members of the healthcare team, the RN provides personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care by employing established nursing models such as "Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage." The RN acts as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, embodying the organization’s vision, mission, and values to enhance the patient experience and improve clinical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient conditions during admission and throughout each shift, identifying and reporting any changes in status.
• Carry out procedures, monitoring, or other tasks as directed by medical providers, ensuring thorough documentation of care in patient medical records.
• Deliver outstanding care by promptly responding to patient requests and proactively addressing their needs.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to manage the quality of care, coordinating and customizing holistic treatment plans that support recovery.
• Facilitate continuity of care by acting as a liaison between healthcare providers and community support systems for specialized patient groups.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of starting employment.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention training must be completed within 90 days of starting employment.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Registered Nurse Diploma.
• No travel is required for this position.
• No prior experience is necessary.
