Payments Delivery Lead: Governance & RAID Expert

Location: Onsite- all 5 days a week from Berkley Heights, NJ Experience: 15+ Years Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Payments Project Manager with strong expertise in engagement governance, RAID management, and cross-functional stakeholder delivery within payments and fintech environments. The ideal candidate will have proven experience leading large-scale initiatives, managing delivery governance, and ensuring successful execution of complex payment technology programs. Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end delivery of payments and fintech projects across multiple teams and stakeholders. Manage engagement governance activities including status reporting, risk management, issue escalation, and executive communication. Own and maintain RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) and proactively drive mitigation plans. Coordinate cross-functional teams including business, engineering, QA, operations, compliance, and external partners. Facilitate project planning, sprint tracking, milestone management, and delivery governance. Conduct stakeholder meetings, steering committee updates, and project health reviews. Track project schedules, deliverables, dependencies, and timelines using project management tools. Ensure alignment with payment industry standards, operational processes, and delivery best practices. Drive continuous improvement in project execution, communication, and governance processes. Required Qualifications 10+ years of Project Management experience in Payments, Banking, or Fintech domains. Strong experience managing enterprise payment delivery engagements and governance activities. Hands-on expertise in RAID management and project governance reporting. Proven experience leading cross-functional stakeholder delivery initiatives. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and business teams. Experience working in Agile and Waterfall delivery environments. Proficiency with: Jira Confluence Microsoft Project Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.
