Virtual Intervention Specialist
Location: Ohio (Remote)
Position Type: Full-Time | Contract
Start Date: Upcoming School Year
Are you a credentialed Ohio Intervention Specialist looking for the flexibility of working from home while making a meaningful impact on students' lives? We are seeking a dedicated and passionate educator to provide virtual special education services to students across Ohio for the upcoming school year.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative virtual team where you'll help students reach their academic, behavioral, and social-emotional goals through engaging online instruction and individualized support.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality virtual special education instruction aligned with students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals while tracking student progress and maintaining accurate documentation.
- Collaborate virtually with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families to ensure student success.
- Adapt instructional materials and utilize technology to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
- Participate in virtual IEP meetings, progress reviews, and multidisciplinary team meetings.
- Provide accommodations, modifications, and evidence-based interventions to support student achievement.
- Foster an engaging, inclusive, and supportive virtual learning environment.
- Ensure compliance with Ohio Department of Education requirements and federal special education regulations.
Qualifications
- Active Ohio Intervention Specialist license.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
- Previous experience developing and implementing IEPs.
- Experience with virtual instruction or educational technology is preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a remote environment.
