Sr. Business Control Specialist - Technical Risk Officer

Job Description The Global Technology Change Governance & Oversight team is seeking a strong Tech Change Management Process Design & Governance analyst with a minimum of 5 years’ experience to drive Governance and control efforts across Global Technology related to Change Governance. This role leads and executes on internal control discipline and operational excellence within the GT Change Governance team, executing LOB or ECF processes and tools to ensure adherence to enterprise-wide standards. Responsibilities Serves as the subject matter expert for the Change process with stakeholders including Risk, Audit and external Regulators. Supports change management deliverables and project documentation (issue/risk logs, status reports, requirements documentation, design documentation, project plans). Establishes and maintains effective communication with team members and key stakeholders. Ensures timely action and coordination on all reporting-related deliverables. Performs quality assurance analysis and review of data received from various LOB, generates reports, and publishes them within the required timeline. Proactively understands responsibilities and manages tasks independently. Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in Governance and Control environment in an IT department. Experience performing analysis and reporting data using Excel, Pivot, Tableau, SQL. Strong experience in Microsoft Office. Good knowledge of risk management approach, processes, tools, and routines. Basic understanding of Change Management and associated controls. Sharp eye for identifying weak points in processes and organizational structures. Ability to drive standardization of processes and implementation of metrics and best practices. Experience developing work‑breakdown structures and executing action plans. Experience gathering, interpreting, and analyzing data to target solutions. Strong analytical and organizational skills with a focus on attention to detail and accuracy. Prior business process management or control framework knowledge. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently with multiple stakeholders. Ability to follow processes and procedures for support and pinpoint opportunities to improve business efficiency. Desired Qualifications Knowledge of change management systems such as Jira, Horizon, Remedy, ServiceNow, etc. SharePoint and Wiki knowledge. Strong collaboration and partnering skills with the ability to positively influence and motivate teams. Ability to coordinate and drive execution of multiple priorities and meet deadlines in accordance with policies and standards. Demonstrated increasing levels of accountability and ownership.
