Job Opportunity: Addiction Medicine Faculty Physician

Our organization is excited to announce an opening for an Addiction Medicine Faculty Physician to become part of our diverse team, dedicated to delivering exceptional, patient-focused Family Medicine and Addiction Medicine services to our community.

This distinctive faculty position will involve a balanced focus, with 50% of responsibilities in Family Medicine and 50% in Addiction Medicine. This role provides a fulfilling combination of clinical practice and academic involvement. Responsibilities will include teaching medical students and residents, as well as contributing to the development of a new Addiction Medicine fellowship within our affiliated medical education program.

Faculty members will engage in clinical research and provide patient care in both community-based and private practice environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care in Family Medicine and Addiction Medicine.
• Teach and mentor medical students and residents.
• Assist in establishing a new Addiction Medicine fellowship.
• Conduct clinical research to advance the field.
• Promote harm reduction and evidence-based addiction care.

Qualifications

• Board certified in Family Medicine.
• Board certified or eligible in Addiction Medicine at the start of employment.
• Eligible to obtain a California medical license upon hiring.
